Here you will find calm waters and a reef that covers over 100 acres. The reef is home to an amazing assortment of underwater creatures. The Olowalu shoreline is about a half (1/2) mile in length and offers a shallow, wind protected play area, perfect for small children to get there feet wet. Beyond the shallows is Olowalu reef. Here you will find great snorkeling where visibility can reaching over a 100 feet. The fish and marine life at the reef are varied and abundant including the occasional honu (a.k.a. sea turtle).
